Hello! I see that you are new here as well. I’m going to give you a bit of a critique if you don’t mind. I’ll be honest here, adding shine to androids and robots can be very difficult. When I first started out with digital art I tried drawing and coloring a robot. The drawing was fine but I did the worst thing imaginable which killed my line art. That was, to add shine I used the airbrush tool. The airbrush tool is the death of digital artists. The reason I brought this up is because you used the airbrush tool to add shine and reflection on your android. This is a very common mistake for those that start out with digital art. Your line art is great but your coloring needs some work.

So here are my tips.
1) Do your best to not use the airbrush tool. Instead use different paint brushes and blenders.

2) To add shine and reflection on her body create a small white gradient and lower the opacity on each part of the body that you want it to reflect.

I hope this advice is useful. Keep drawing!

didnt use the airbrush tool for anything but the hair. used a hard edge brush at about 70% opacity and smudge tools.

I hope it’s okay to give this a little critique. I feel that the proportion of her head is kind of small. Maybe you could make it a bit bigger so we can see all that detail you put in the face. Another thing is the genitalia. I hope I don’t offend you by asking this but does she have an erection or a camel toe? I cannot really tell what parts she has down there because the color and shine throw me off a bit. Anyway, I don’t know the character so I can’t give you a critique of how much she looks like the specific character you are trying to depict. Your art is far from bad! I just wanted to give you a few suggestions.

Oh god 😆 I never thought about this with Frankenstein. This is so true. The creator is so excited that he created a living being but comes to a full realization that he wants it dead. It was in an instant,just like your little comic. I always thought how werid it was to create something just to kill it. So sadistic! Your art is beautiful by the way.

I really love the combination of cell shading and soft shading within the clothing and the hair. Meowth is super cute as well. Lovely work!

Th background turned out great! It really addds a ton of depth. The subtle texture in the sky and buildings really brings this piece to life. You earned yourself a new fan.

I’m going to real here. This shouldn’t be rated E.She’s naked from the waste down dude. I think you can edit that and make it at least rated T or M.

Don’t know the character your drew (I’ll assume it’s an OC) but what I can say about this piece is that I love the cell shading of her sweater. The butt shading was good until you get to the reflection. For some reason the reflection throws it a little off.What I recommend next time is to not use the spray paint tool, but instead use a gradient. The gradient should be on a separate layer and overlayed on top.I think the reflection will look more natural that way.

So that’s my little critique. Nice job but you might want to change the rating😆

I love the colors and the shading for both Murdoc and 2D. I guess Russell is the bear 😆 but I feel that his shading was the weakest of the four (it’s still great though). The little glow that reflects off of 2D’s eyes looks super cool. Fantastic job!

He's a werewolf! And yeah, sadly I kinda rushed him cuz I was starting to hate this drawing and he wasn't as fun as the others. :(
The shading was something I didnt know what to make up so that's why he looks a bit poorer in the shading department. But I appreciate your feedback! Im proud of murdoc and 2-D as well :)
